Scrivner, a seasoned legal professional with over two decades of experience, began his career as a civil practitioner in Jackson County, Missouri, after graduating from the University of Missouri in Kansas City School of Law. He later served as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Stone County, where he also served as the 39th Circuit Bar President in 2016 and 2017. Scrivner is also a state-licensed specialist instructor for universities and police academies, and he assisted in launching Stone County’s drug and veterans’ courts.
Dayrell Scrivner: A Passion for Justice
Dayrell Scrivner is a highly experienced Attorney with a passion for justice and public service. He has over 30 years of experience in the legal profession, including 20 years as a Prosecutor. During his time as a prosecutor, Dayrell handled a wide range of cases including domestic violence, child abuse, and drug offenses. He also served as the Chief Assistant Prosecutor from 2002 to 2018, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the prosecutor’s office.
In addition to his experience as a prosecutor, Dayrell is also a Missouri State Licensed Specialist Instructor for Universities and Missouri Police Academies. He teaches courses on criminal law, criminal procedure, and domestic violence. Dayrell is also a graduate of the National Institute of Prosecution of Domestic Violence.
Dayrell holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), where he graduated with distinction in 1990 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from UMKC in 1993.
In 2018, Dayrell left the Stone County Prosecutor’s office after 19 years to establish his own private practice. He now specializes in criminal defense, family law, and business law, providing his clients with passionate and effective representation.
